Pedagogy

I can grow there...

... where someone awaits for me with joy.
... where I am allowed to make mistakes.
... where I have room to dream.
... where I can move freely.
... where I can speak my mind.
... where I can sing out loud.
... where I am free to explore.
... where I can be myself.
... where I am taken seriously.
... where someone shares my joy.

... where I am comforted.
... where I can live!

Pedagogy

For the Kita LIFE, the most important guiding principle in child education is promoting the learning potential that exists in everyday life.

Knowledge is not something that can be simply put into the child's head; on the contrary, through existing information, knowledge must be perceived by them as a consequence of their reasoning. The most important thing is to motivate children to learn with pleasure, allow them to satisfy their curiosity and let them experience the fullfillment of discovering their own ideas instead of receiving knowledge from others.

Allow children to find solutions to their problems and to build on their own concrete experiences.

"The Practical Life Exercises are formative activities, a work of adaptation to the environment.  Such adaptation to the environment and efficient functioning therein is the very essence of a useful education."

The "Practical Life Exercises" are the way a child learns the day to day activities in a purposeful and meaningful way. These activities are then playfully connected with sensorial, language and mathematical material as well as with general drawing and handicraft materials. The freedom to chose any activity and the prepared environment allows children to build independence and thus, their intellect and personality.

"Help me to do it by myself."

This guiding principle has a high priority at Kita LIFE.

Dr. Montessori repeatedly emphasized on the fact that a child must not be prevented from making their own experiences at their own pace. Adults ought to strive to see the world from the child's perspective.

"Free the child's potential and you will transform him into the world."

Promoting culture diversity is also one of the main aims of Kita LIFE, as is practicing social behaviour.
